Have any of you seen Beyonce’ s “I AM” concert?  What an inspiration she is, ALL of her musicians and singers were female divas – all shapes sizes and backgrounds.  I love this women empowerment and I feel that it is important for woman to have the space for leadership development in an all female environment.  The reason for this is that I believe that giving women space in an all female environment with a programme that is uniquely tailored for them, allows them to discover and explore at a deeper level.  A group of women together naturally support each other, find their voice and the level of authenticity and understanding is powerful.

This is not a “man back biting club”, I love men!  I have been supported and encouraged every step by my husband Rowland.  During my career I have had some great male mentors and leaders that I respect and have learnt from.

I want to see a balance of both men and women in senior positions at work.   A balance of both male and female talents, wisdom and qualities will make a positive difference in the world, influence corporate decisions, results and a better life quality.

Beyonce performed at the O2 London stadium as Wonder Woman.  I want to share with you how you can become a professional wonder woman and get paid what you are worth.  There are so many rich resources available to you.  Take your first step and check out my website www.leadatwork.com

As Beyonce sings “So if you want to, you got the green light!”

What a great month to start my Blog with the warm sunshine and optimism in the air.  Taking the first step can always be the most challenging but indeed is the most significant.

My first step to design a programme specifically for professional women began last year.  Which moved me and my team in the direction of researching, talking, more talking, brainstorming and testing.

A huge thank you to all the marvellous women who have been supporting this programme and congratulations to your amazing results and huge leaps forward.   Here’s to raising a glass of champagne to your promotions, pay increases, leadership and inspiration of others and most of all achieving your happy and supported work life balance.  And yes all in this tough economic climate.

Did you know that now is the best time for change and new opportunities?   I am so fired up to help more women take small steps leading to great strides.

I love this quote “ Don’t wait until everything is just right.  It will never be perfect.   There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.   So what.   Get started now.  With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled , more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”  (Mark Victor Hansen)

It is wonderful to look back on my first step that has now lead to the launch this week of www.leadatwork.com  especially to help professional women like you fast track your career, get paid your worth and be a more effective leader.   Where’s that champagne..?  Cheers!
